Yesterday, my MIS professor was teaching us about the transformation of commerce over the years, from traditional commerce, to e-commerce, mobile commerce, and beyond.
He said that the next generation is U-commerce, or ubiquitous commerce. He says it’s not very prominent or even hardly known yet, except for a little bit in New York.
I didn’t really understand, but he was saying something about U-commerce involving stuff like jackets with wiring in them that you could do commerce through while you excercise and whatnot?
Does anyone know about this or have any links? How does it work? And how soon will it get big in America?
It is hard to say when it will get bigger because this depends on people who should use this technology and support it.
